Home

We have a house on this little slope we call Spyder hill. Its our pleasure to welcome you!

Located in the Southern state of Negeri Sembilan, Spyder hill is at the tail end of Malaysia’s Titiwangsa range – home to wildlife corridors in the North like the Belum forest and Taman Negara. Here in the South, right next door to our home is the Berembun Forest Reserve that connects upwards to this main range.

We offer experiences, rooms and a small boutique event space to rent. Conveniently, we are only 20 mins away from Seremban town and an hour away from Kuala Lumpur city and KLIA.

Nikt and Suze had been great hosts to us. We enjoyed our stay with them. Love how they built and decorated their home and everything is just spot on!. Brilliant concept! We took the trekking package and Nikt brought us with Donnie & Darko..amazing dogs! Not to forget Cheeto and Sky (the cats) have been good companions around us..keep us occupied and great night watch 🙂 we were so reluctant to leave their home and definitely would come back for more!! overall I would recommend to everyone to stay with Nikt and Suze!! Thank you guys for being amazing hosts… 🙂

Our stay at Spyder Hill is one will remember as one of our best weekends in Malaysia. From the moment we walked in the door, Nikt and Susie warmly welcomed us into their home and shared their knowledge, tips and ideas for our weekend ahead. From a home cooked meal on our first night, to a delicious breakfast and coffee at the local Chinese cafe, followed up with a fabulous guided trek through their local rainforest and a banana leaf lunch by the river. The day finished with a delicious Malaysian dinner at a local restaurant. Their home is uniquely placed within the rainforest – open spaces met nature at every corner and misty mornings are enjoyed as you lay in the hammock and listen to the bird songs. The evening crickets and frogs remind you that their is much more to life than city living. The house is beautifully decorated with restored furniture and collector items from Malaysia’s history and Susie is more than happy to share her stories about how she happened upon them. We highly recommend a weekend in Spyder Hill if you are looking to experience nature in Malaysia in a comfortable, charming setting with wonderful hosts. We will certainly be returning!
